Expert commentary

The 2018 vintage shows intense aromas of pungent lime leaf, passionfruit, and cut grass alongside subtle bottle-aged lanolin complexity. Crisp, driving acidity balances the concentrated citrus and tropical core, leading into a refreshing, persistent finish.

Serving and ageing guide

This wine is ready to drink now and not suitable for further ageing. At several years of maturity, it retains lively fruit concentration while developing subtle tertiary savory nuances; further cellaring will see its remaining primary freshness decline. Serve chilled at 8–10°C in a standard white wine glass without decanting to preserve its aromatic lift. Pair with pan-seared white fish, goat cheese crostini, or green asparagus with lemon vinaigrette. The wine demonstrates very good quality, exhibiting harmonious balance between brisk natural acidity and concentrated fruit weight. Aromatic intensity on the nose is matched evenly by expressive flavour intensity on the palate, carrying through to a long, clean, and satisfyingly focused finish.
