Maison Trust
This policy explains what Maison Apéro processes, why it is needed, the providers involved and the choices available to you.
Maison Apéro is not end-to-end encrypted. We and the providers needed to operate the service can technically process content required to deliver the features you request.
Account and profile data; contacts, groups, messages and attachments; Wine Library records; evaluation images, wine-list excerpts, identifying text and results; study answers and scores; plan, ticket, device, notification, diagnostics and support data.
We use information to authenticate accounts, deliver messaging and notifications, synchronize the Wine Library, provide requested reference evaluations and study questions, enforce plans and tickets, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures and comply with law.
When you explicitly request an evaluation or study action, approved server-side processing providers may process the submitted material. Recognition and evaluation are not guaranteed. Results are reference information, not a substitute for sensory judgement or professional advice. We do not use this content to train a general-purpose model without a separate notice and any required consent.
Providers may include Google Firebase and Google Cloud, approved server-side model providers, Apple or Google sign-in and stores, RevenueCat, and support or security advisers. We do not sell personal information.
Traffic uses TLS where supported. Cloud data uses provider-managed encryption and access controls. Firebase Rules, IAM, App Check, server authorization and secret management protect service boundaries. No system is completely secure, and recipients can capture content they receive.
We retain data only as needed for the service, selected disappearing-message settings, security, billing and legal obligations. You can request account deletion in the app. Protected backups and required audit records may expire on a separate schedule.
Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability, and may withdraw consent for optional processing. We may verify your identity before completing a request.
Providers may process data in other countries with applicable safeguards. Maison Apéro is intended for people meeting the locally applicable age for alcohol-related content and is not directed to children. Material policy changes will receive appropriate notice.
