Expert commentary

The wine delivers expressive Mediterranean freshness driven by generous stone fruit, citrus zest, and subtle tropical undertones. On the palate, mouth-watering acidity harmonizes with ripe fruit concentration and moderate alcohol, culminating in a clean, mineral-tinged finish.

Serving and ageing guide

This wine is assessed as good quality. In terms of balance, vibrant medium plus acidity neatly offsets the ripe stone and tropical fruit core and moderate alcohol. The nose intensity is medium plus, displaying bright floral and citrus aromatics, which closely agrees with the medium plus flavour intensity on the palate. While the finish is of medium length and the aromatic complexity remains modest, the wine succeeds through its varietal purity and clean execution. In terms of readiness, this bottle is to drink now, not suitable for further ageing. Its charm resides entirely in fresh primary citrus and floral characteristics, which will decline rather than gain secondary complexity over time. It should be consumed within 1 to 2 years of the vintage. For optimal enjoyment, serve chilled at 8 to 10°C without decanting. It pairs exceptionally well with Mediterranean seafood such as grilled sea bass, spaghetti alle vongole, or light antipasti.
