The background that matters
Feudo Arancio is part of the Trentino-based Mezzacorona group, whose Sicilian venture began in 2001; the estate at Acate (Ragusa) was added in 2003. Feudo Arancio has about 700 hectares of vineyards on two estates along Sicily’s southern coast: Sambuca di Sicilia (Agrigento) and Acate.
Read it alongside this wine
Its Grillo comes from the Acate area, and the producer says the grape prefers sandy, sloping, sunny ground. The 2025 on this site is assessed as dry, with medium(+) acidity, medium body and medium alcohol, and its aromas fall into floral, citrus, stone-fruit and tropical-fruit groups. This terrain note is the producer’s general description for this wine, not a report on 2025.
Try it with the review
In the review, see how the medium(+) acidity is set against the fruit and the ‘drink now’ readiness. Note which points the review states and which you would only be inferring from the producer’s note on sandy, sunny ground.
Learning prompts are not guaranteed tasting results; distinguish producer facts from your observations.
